Meet Our Staff:

Robert W Bauer, CPA

Bob has been in public accounting since 1976. Bob specializes in business, personal and estate planning utilizing tax strategies to promote business and personal tax planning. He uses his experience in estate planning and developing financial accounting strategies to help his clients achieve their goals. Bob established this firm in 1989 with the motto that:

"We're big enough to serve you, small enough to know you."

Brian K. Evans, CPA/PFS

Brian has been a CPA since 1984, after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Washington State University. After seven years working in the Bellevue area, he joined Robert Bauer's firm in 1991 and became a shareholder in 1995. Brian's emphasis has been as a generalist helping small business and individual clients with a wide range of consulting, planning, accounting, tax and QuickBooks issues. In 1999, Brian became a registered investment advisor and in 2001 became a Personal Financial Specialist.

Carla N. Anderson, CPA

Carla has been with the firm since 1992. She began her accounting career in 1986 after graduating from San Diego State University with a degree in accounting. She has been a licensed CPA since 1990. Carla provides tax, accounting, QuickBooks consulting and auditing services. Special audit areas include audits of non-profit organizations, HUD loan correspondents, and employee benefit plans.

Katie M. King, CPA

Katie joined the firm in December of 1999. She graduated from Central Washington University in 1997 with majors in Accounting and Business Administration. Katie has been a CPA since November 1999. She has experience in financial statement compilation, tax preparation and auditing.

Shirley A. Lehtinen

Shirley joined our firm in January, 2000 as our secretary/receptionist, with over 20 of years experience. She personally knows and has worked with several of our clients, both as individuals or businesses, throughout her career.

Norma J. Marshall, CPA

Norma joined the firm in December 2002. She began her career in 1966 and became a CPA in 1989 after graduating from Central Washington University. She has held positions in both the private and public arenas. Norma's emphasis has been as a generalist helping small business and individual clients with consulting, planning, accounting, tax and QuickBooks issues.

Kristin R. Matteson

Kristin joined the firm in January 2003 as an intern and was hired on full time in May 2003. She graduated from the University of Washington-Bothell with a degree in Business Administration(Finance). She is currently attending Central Washington University to obtain her Masters of Accounting. In the future, she would like to become a CPA. Kristin looks forward to gaining the experience necessary to provide a wide range of services to our clients.

Patricia M. McGoorty, CPA

Patty began her public accounting career in 1988 after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Seattle University with degrees in Business Administration (Accounting) and Humanities. She joined the firm in September 1999 and provides a wide variety of client services including tax planning and compliance, auditing and QuickBooks consulting.

Monica N. Padineant

Monica joined the firm in August of 2002. She graduated from the University of Washington School of Business in June 2002, with a major in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. Her current career goal is to become a licensed Registered Investment Advisor; she has already passed the Series 7 and is working on the Series 66 exam. Monica will soon be a licensed insurance agent, adding yet another service for our clients.

Charlene R. Rollins

Charlene has been with the firm since 1996. She began her career in public accounting in 1986. Charlene is experienced in federal income tax preparation, payroll tax preparation, QuickBooks consulting, property management and trust administration.

Shane M. Summer, CPA

Shane is a cum laude graduate of Western Washington University with a major in accounting and a minor in business administration. He passed the CPA exam in May 2000 and looks forward to providing a wide variety of services to our clients.

Michelle L. Young, CPA

Michelle joined the firm in May of 1999. A 1999 graduate of Central Washington University, Michelle passed her CPA exam and became a licensed CPA in August 2003. She has experience in QuickBooks consulting, financial statement compilation and tax preparation.
